Between ‘before’ and ‘after’, or ‘here’ and ‘there’ is liminal space. As Ghaddar puts it, “this is the realm of the imperceptible in-between.” Working in a variety of mediums, Ghaddar explores the concept of the liminal, trying to capture the oppositions embedded in the term.
