The contemporary paintings of Kim transcend the medium itself, emulating “drawings” in their blurry and soft hues. The featured works constitute a combination of recurring elements drenched in symbolism, mostly in the form of animals; whether the satirical-mysteriousness of cats, the duality of snakes, or even the anonymity of fish- all intertwined in mystical natural scenery, under the ever-present moon light.
